My Favorite Places (X-Posted from OD)

A friend asked me about my favorite place. Well, I've got more than one and decided to make an OD entry of my answers! Oh, and I've kind of stretched the meaning of "place" a bit! Hehe.

So, I'm going to attempt to list some of my favorite places to be, in no particular order (if I can stop burping, that is...grr):

--My front porch when a storm is approaching, the wind is blowing, lightening is flashing and the thunder is rolling.

--My bed (curled up with my pup, Cookie, of course, or a bunch of kitties).

--The bowling alley.

--My Grandpa's house

--The canal behind his house (I walk Cookie down it)

--Any place that's scenic

--Montreal and Quebec in Canada (strikingly beautiful)

--New York City (I loved it there)

--In front of my computer

--The OD community

--Teen Pulse Chat

--Anywhere where there are friends

--The Ice Skating Rink

--The Golden Corrale (a restaurant)

--Marching Band Competitions (at night)

--Anywhere that I'm performing with Jazz Band

--In the Driver's Seat of any Car

--Any place that I feel loved and/or appreciated

--My house

--Larry and Penny park

--The Florida Keys

--Harry Harris Park (Snorkeling)

--Ivan or LeeAnn's house

--Math Competitions (as dorky as that sounds, they're mildly fun)

--Model United Nations conferences

--The Movie Theatre

--In front of my TV (a rarity)

--Miniature Golf

--Game Rooms/Arcades

--A Pool (doesn't matter where)

--Denny's (mostly when it's late at night)

--The nudie shop (lalalalala... don't ask)

--In an IM with someone I care about

--Jackie's house

--My front yard with the neighborhood kids

--On the phone with someone I care about

--On the Internet

--Any small, family-owned type restaurant (i.e. - Mama

Mia's Pizza, or Bowl Le Chinese)

--My sofa (good for napping)

--Any good class (also a rarity)

--Duval street in Key West

--Coconut Grove

--The Beach (Doesn't matter where)

--In the midst of stimulating conversation

--Wal-Mart

--A mall (any mall will generally do; Dadeland, Sawgrass, the Falls, Cutler Ridge, etc)

--The CD Exchange

--Shorty's BBQ

--At a party

--Anywhere but School

Okay, okay.. these are getting more shallow by the minute. :) I'm sure I'll think of more and will have to add them on! This was a cool question though. Thanks, person who asked it (you know who you are) *grin*
