Finally Here... (X-Posted from OD)
Ah.
Just when the inspiration and kick-in-the-butt-that-I-desperately-needed finally came through, OD didn't. The first entry on here, I wrote that 3 days ago when I first subscribed, but wasn't able to post it until now. And actually, that was only what was left of the *real* first entry that I could remember after it got wiped into OD oblivion.
Anyway, you may notice that my OD is really bland right now, because I was trying to transfer over my FOD, and that wouldn't work either. I thought, "Yay, now I can post entries, so the transfer will probably work too!" Nope. That was just wishful thinking. Still getting the same error message.
So hopefully the techs will respond to me soon, or maybe it all just has something to do with moving OD to "more reliable" servers. :) Riiiiight (a la Dr. Evil)
Anyway, I'm finally here.
It took some prodding (and pruning), and some good old-fashioned inspiration...
But I'm here! I've transferred over from Free Open diary, ready to read, to write, to post pictures. And I've made a forcefully loud pact with myself to do just that, and lot more often.
Then again, I did the same thing just a few years back on Free Open Diary, and it pushed me to write a whole 69 entries. So we'll see :)
I am glad to be back in OD land. Completely ready to be re-inspired, to rekindle some of my own passion (it's been mildly hidden for far too long, but I can feel it rising up in me like a bad case of heartburn) and to meet some of you great ODers.
