Amy's Cool

So yes, ok, Amy is cool. She definitely made me a super schwifty background for my new Live Journal. I'm definitely more of an opendiary.com kinda' girl, but how can I resist when my background completely rocks?

Anyway, so thanks Amy! You were definitely uncool before uncool was cool, and I'm thankful for your creativity :)

Beyond that, hmm. I'll just update some random garbled thing. I played in a poker tourney tonight online (okay, maybe several). Anyway, I think I'm just getting much better at poker. I was 42nd for quite awhile out of 929 entrants. Then I made quite a few boo-boo calls in a row, and lost nearly half my chips, bumping me to 181. It was all down-hill from there.

But it was a crazy cheap tournament ($10) and the top prizes were in the thousands (#1 was 8k, #2 was 5k and on down to the last prize for like 70th place being $100). Anyway, I got all excited dreaming about that dough, and bummed up. I exited the tourney at like 202nd place. LOL

But the point is, I feel like I'm getting better at the game. Maybe I just need to get more lucky, or perhaps just need to work on staying levelheaded when I'm winning. I kinda' think my excitement screwed me up.

Hm, what else? Wow, I'm so addicted to poker. I hate poker. Poker's life. Poker sucks.

Tanya says to me tonight (during my poker discussion) "you're so over this. or, at least i am." LOL

Hmm... what else? So I played in the tourney while I was supposed to be working on my psychology presentation for Friday. I'm so behind. I really need to get on it today (monday)... I want it sent to Dr. J by Tuesday at the latest, so we have a couple days to discuss it. Then, slides go onto ugly construction paper backgrounds, and I slap those babies onto a 3rd grade science board, wa-la! $1500 of work. Woo. Almost like winning a free 12 oz. soda from that lucky cap game.
