- lynching photography - dora apel / shawn michelle smith
- visual culture and the holocaust - the tattooed jew - dora apel
- impossible exchange - i think by Jean Baudrillard, the xerox handed out in class didnt include any of that useful info.
- an overabundance of articles on roadside crosses found on scholar.google.com (which is pretty amazing place)
- the life and times of the thunderbolt kid - bill bryson (coz with all this death and trauma shit, i need a fun book in the reading list)
this is pretty much my normal week, an endless list of readings and things to digest and dissect...
- in past weeks, it's included: relational asthestics, writings by and discussions of walter benjamin, writings about phenomonology, many articles on trauma (9/11, errol morris' films, mccurry's afghan girl image, oh, i cant remember them all rite now.. just relying on the stack of books in front of me rite now for the specifics of what's in the queue for this week....)
