1 day, two pictures?
Here is one of my favorate pictures - taken on the small island of Nias, off the west coast of Sumatra Indonesia. My thoughts are often with these men whose animated convesation didn't stop for my shutter. The smell of cloves, fresh Sumatran coffee, and the Sea, pervaded the on-dock coffee shop this picture was taken in. The dock and the coffee shop have almost certaintly been distroyed, (Nias was hit particularly hard by the Tsunami), but hopefully these men have survived and continue their convivial conversations to this day.
