cancel?

could we get a cancel button on the upload form?

you know, in case we choose the wrong file and already have a stack of files selected and we want to remove that one without having to start over?

that'd be awesome. :)

sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.

it might able be browser/platform-dependent.

that works for me also. if you click browse before choosing the next window, it will rplcae the file there with the one you want.

hit your browser's stop button?

not quite.

i select one file that i want.
i select a second file.
i select a third file.
oops! i don't want that third file.
i hit the 3rd browse button again and choose the correct third that i want.
i select a fourth file.
i select a fifth file.
oops! i don't want that fifth file and only wanted to upload 4.

what do i do with that last oops?

say i did this but i stacked up 20 instead of 4?

i'm not quite sure how to "hit undo" in that situation.

Oh okay, that wasn't clear from your post. It sounded like you needed a way to cancel the upload.

If clearing out the field doesn't work, I'd suggest your browser is broken.

yep, i'm usually not very clear.

so. once the filename is loaded into the field, do i simply clear the text in there?
or do i hit the corresponding browse button and attempt to select no file?

(i haven't gone back to play with it yet.)
