At the risk of sounding homosexual in the rest of this post, let me preface the story by saying that I am completely, and unquestionably, heterosexual.
I went to see the Billy Joel musical Movin' Out tonight. At first, I was a little skeptical, but a friend of mine had some extra tickets, and I got them quite cheaply, and figured I didn't really have anything to lose. Being from Huntington myself (Billy Joel's home town), I grew up listening to his music, and have a very deep connection with it. I don't know what it is about it, but every note seems to strike me in interesting ways, I guess it's just one of those things. But the show was amazing. The band was on a balcony above the dancers, and the lights and effects were pretty cool. I must say, I give the perfomers a whole new level of respect. First of all, the ladies were rediculously fine. And the guys were insane as well. The main actor did a back flip and as soon as he landed he went right into a front hand spring then as soon as he landed that, another back flip. Yeah, he repeated that like 5 times. He was also not standing on his hands, but bouncing, while doing like break dancing freezes. All in all, the show was great.
Afterwards, on the way back home, Shannon's car decided to spew radiator fluid all over the place and we luckily were right next to the Mobil on Jefferson. We parked the car there so it would cool down so that I could add some more fluid to it (without having the cap fly off in my face and kill me), and got some Taco Bell.
