The last 2 days have been pretty good, a nice change of pace I guess. I think I did pretty well in my art exam, despite only studying for an hour right before the test, and even at that not really studying cause I was talking to a friend while I was at Java's. Later on I bowled the best game of my life, with a 234. I got all strikes except an 8/ and 9/ in the 3rd and 4th respectively and a 9-0 in the 10th (damn 10 pin is my nemesis). Bowled 2 other pretty good games after that, but I guess 150's don't look too great after a 234. I have been bowling around 200 at least once a night. I really have to do something about my bowling style though, I don't think my finger can take the stress of bowling a hard hook with only 2 fingers in the ball. It's pretty swollen right now. After that I played some poker on floor. I don't remember enough of the game to give it a proper recap. I do remember slow playing the A high flush from the flop against mostly Little Dan for a large stack. I went from being short stacked in 4up to finally just splitting the pot with Queens after about half hour of seesaw heads up. We were pretty much never more than 20 chips apart (usually around 200 each) and finally just decided to call it a night at like 3:30.
Work was pretty slow today, and I took care of most of the new tickets that came in. Not even really thinking, I took a ticket for a virus cleanup at the Field House at the end of the day so that I could just walk back to the dorms from the appointment (since the FH is like half the way back anyway). It turned out that Shannon was working there at 5, so I had some pleasant company while finishing the scan (which took forever on a 200 mHz machine). I ended up spending quite some time there after the computer was done, just chatting and keeping her company through a boring shift at work. I have proven once again that poker metaphors can be used for any situation.
