So I have a job! In London! HURRAH!
It's not paid, but that's life. I started yesterday and will hopefully move into my new flat in Clapham sometime this week.
I am the Exhibitions Assistant (unpaid intern) at the Simon Lee Gallery in Mayfair. It's really quite swanky, and as full of pretentious art as you would expect. My duties are many and varied, and I will hopefully learn all about the way that commercial galleries are run. It's fun - so far :) I've got my own desk and everything.
It's weird - I feel like an actual grown up (or pretending to be one anyway), what with a real 9.30-6 job, and living alone etc etc. I shall have to quit smoking the crack though.
