I know I've said don't download stuff from the internet before, but this stuffs freaken nasty…
Even mainstream media have picked up on it - http://money.cnn.com/2006/01/03/technology/windows_virusthreat/index.htm?cnn=yes
(yep this is a business news site)
Microsoft have now come out and said 'we're not fixing this until next Tuesday', so unfortunately the only patch is from SANS (an independent internet security company)
Download and run the following file http://handlers.sans.org/tliston/WMFHotfix-1.1.14.msi
(You can pass this on to others if you want as well - this can be used by corporate IT managers )
