Frizon, here I come
Finally! Tomorrow I'm off to Frizon. It's a Christian music festival and it's just fantastic. I was there one day of the festival two years ago. Unfortunately I had severe back pains at the moment so I went back home after just one day, but the the concerts I saw and the meetings I attended were great. Imagine 4000 young people from different churches meeting and singing worship songs together inside a big barn, it's just amazing!
This year it's going to be a lot of rock and hard rock music played at Frizon. A Swedish band called Blindside is going to play inside the barn on Saturday and they are really good. A band that don't play rock but is just as amazing is Saving Blue. There are also bands from different countries: Silence the Foe (Norway), All Star United (US), Anderson (Netherlands), Family Force 5 (US), Dave Blackgrove (UK) and Evig Poesi (Norway, translation of the name: Eternal Poetry). There might be more foreign bands but I don't have the time to check at the moment. I haven't started packing yet and I really need to get some sleep tonight. I had a day off yesterday and my mother wanted some sausages from a certain village in the county below ours so she lent me and Gabbi (my best friend) the car. Being only 30 kilometers from Tranås (were Jocke, Martin and Werna lives) we just couldn't stay away from there. Line, another friend of ours, was working in Tranås so we picked her up as well. We had a great day, swimming in the beautiful lake Sommen, played party games (=sällskapsspel) and had a BBQ in the evening. I got home to my parents place at 12.15 a.m., fell asleep around 1 a.m., woke up 6.15 a.m. and was at work at 7. As you probably can guess I'm very tired ad the moment and there won't be a lot of sleep at the music festival, so I have to go to bed early tonight.
I should really start packing... Take care and I'll be back on Sunday, hopefully with some pictures ;)
