Ahh!
I HAVE CHOCOLATE SYRUP IN MY HAIR.
Well, not anymore. But I thought that was a nice way to open this update.
Okay, I went to church at 530 today... that's real super early. I went early so that I could practice w/ Shae and Lindsey b/c I was playing my guitar during worship, but me and Brenda spent like half an hour trying to get the guitar and the keyboard in the same key... the capo just makes everything so complicated! So that was interesting. Then we sang that song Blessed Be Your Name like 200 times, I think. But while we were doing all this, Shae got there... so she was walking around and stuff, she looked busy so I was like okay I'll wait til she's done doing stuff til I bug her about practicing... but then a little while later I asked her and she said she wasn't going to sing, and I think I accidentally implied (by having Lindsey up there singing, and there was only one mic out and stuff...) that I didn't want her to sing w/ us! And I felt bad b/c I thought I hurt her feeings. And then Lindsey felt bad b/c she thought Shae just didn't want to sing w/ her or something like that. So lots of miscommunication tonight.
THEN we played a game where there were these donuts tied to the end of fishing-pole-ish things, and the donuts had chocolate syrup dripping all over them and 4 of us had to eat them off of the fishing poles while the guys held the poles for us. It was hard. And we got chocolate all in our HAIR and all over our clothes and stuff. It was fun, though. I'm not exactly sure why having a chocolate covered donut smeared all over my face was fun, but it was!
Okay I am tired so I don't want to finish telling you about church...
