Help me, RPG geeks!

RPGs use a lot of different ways of expressing a character's statistics:

- a number range (like 3-18, plus that gawdawful "exceptional Strength" thing)
- a bonus or penalty (like +7 or -2)
- a dice pool (like 2d8)
- a percentage (like 42%)
- a word from a defined list (like "Great" or "Amazing")
- a combination of runes and numbers (like 1w2 - I've only seen this in HeroQuest)

What are some others that I'm not thinking of?
