Official Media Create numbers for last week aren't out just yet, but it seems that the PS3 version of SFIV placed second, losing out to only Mario & Luigi RPG 3. That sounds like a good sign of support, so hopefully more SFIV will be on the way through characters, modes, and even a Championship edition.

Downloadable content for SF is already scheduled this summer including AT LEAST 2 more characters, T.Hawk (Why?) and Dee Jay. There might be more (Read: Im hoping lolol).
Also, there is a lot of evidence proving that Abel is Charlie...
- Charlie was presumed dead when he went missing after pursuing shadaloo.
- Guile's story in street fighter 4 is based of the fact that he believes that charlie is still alive somewhere. He explicitly says while visiting charlies grave that they never found charlie's body.
- Abel was found at a shadaloo lab sometime after charlie disappeared, and he has no recollection of his past but somehow recognizes guile's moves.
- Abel has mentioned in his plot that he has seen characters like zangief and feilong fight before. (both who eventually made it into the alpha series in alpha 3.)
- The general mood of abel / guiles SF4 story line is that there is some sort of connection between abel and charlie. The story leads you to believe that abel may have been rescued by charlie, but it doesn't explicitly say that, so it could be purposely misleading the viewer into thinking that.
- Abel's face is the same as Seths, he says that in his win qoute ("are we one in the same"). This could be because before abel was rescued from the shadaloo lab, hes body was used as the groundwork for the creation of the Seths. Seth is a compilation of multiple characters moves but he resembles are genetically altered abel.
- It's possible that after charlie went missing, he was subjected to tests and cloning experiments and bison's psycho power. The psycho power might have given him amnesia (like it did to cammy) and when he was rescued he was renamed abel by the mercenary that saved him. So abel could be a genetically altered charlie and was made as the template for the creation of seth. Meaning seth is a compilation of multiple people's abilities that were put into a clone of abel's body.
- If you look at abels hair, it sort of looks like charlies hair if charlies weird long spike was cut off. Abel's hair is noticeably longer at the front and if you continued that out more it would be a lot like charlies haircut.
