life is so good, isn't it?

i said something really smart tonight. this amazing guy who just graduated with 5 degrees from uconn just died last night. i was talking to a friend about death and how it just happens more and more often as you get older (more people you know die because you know more people, obvy). i love how something positive comes out of these convos. i said that at some point, death should become funny. not like, funny haha, but just...life is just one big joke. it's all we've got. so you can be sad and angry and vengeful about things, but ultimately, seeking out those ridiculous and fabulous moments with ridiculous and fabulous people is just more fun and worthwhile. 'cause no matter how difficult, how hilarious, how awkward, or how beautiful we say life is, it's all we've got, so we better choose wisely. and remember that what you do makes no difference to you once you've left this difficult, wondrous place, but it surely makes a difference to everyone you leave behind...

that's my two cents. good night world.
