CHIEVO SPAM 2.0

Mar 15, 2011 20:35

Good news, the picspam is back \O\ (I have to apologize 'cause I'm not this good at writing in English, I hope this would be understandable.)

(No-one could really believe they actually won.)

That was actually a victory, I mean, a real one. JMV scored, Sinisa was soaked wet but happy, and even Gila forced himself to an almost smile, so. The trip to Verona was good, the boys played well and they were well-organized and focused, once in a lifetime, even if they tried hard to lose the match in the last part of the second half. However, winning and playing almost well are becoming not-so-unusual features of the last matches, so the boys are getting more and more confident and they've started talking again about Europa League and so on - and I'm hoping that it won't bring us bad luck as Sinisa's preseason words did. Cross your fingers.

Chievo 0 - 1 Fiorentina [ Highlights]

Fiorentina: Boruc; De Silvestri (Comotto 92'), Gamberini, Natali, Pasqual; Behrami, Montolivo, Vargas (Marchionni 76'); Santana; Mutu, Gilardino (Babacar 88').

Surprisingly, despite of the rain, there were a lot of supporters.

Maybe not so many.

They sang all the time, it was a pleasure to hear them, for a moment it seemed to be in Florence.

Sini was there, obviously. *Squees her love*

He was there and he loved Ficcadenti (who loved him back, and I can't really blame him).

Omg, where's his scarf? His wonderful security scarf? Did someone steal it?

Oh, no. It's back. Wondering what's going to happen when the season will get warmer.

Photograph guys love Sini, but I don't know if he loves them back, especially when they catch him in his pensive moments.

Or maybe he's just bored.

Definitely bored. And trying to distract everyone by grimacing.

Back in the posts, Artur was pretty useless for a big part of the match. However, he managed to do a couple of good saves and show us that he's always our beloved superhero. Good man.

On the left, LSD got the start. I couldn't find photos of him (or Comotto's ones, since he replaced him at the very end of the match 'cause LDS's back was aching) but he was great, running and fighting on every ball.

As for LDS, Gambero was great, stopping Pellissier and the other Chievo strikers whenever they managed to get the ball.

Looking from behind, Natali looks like a little cherub, with his fair, curly hairs floating in the wind despite the rain.

Then you look at his face, and it's not hard to understand why nobody bothered him when he got the ball.

On the right, unbelievably, Pasqual did well.

(Even if the ball scared the hell out of him, sometimes.)

He did good crosses - yes, he finally learnt how to do a proper cross, I'm almost moved), ran a lot, played well with Vargas and definitely made a good impression on me.

Valon was there, too, making the ball levitating with his powers. Looks like there's another superhero in the town.

He can fly, too!

He did well, as he always do.

He ran, he fought, he ran again and, with Monty, managed to organize the game and stop Chievo from taking the ball.

Speaking of what.

He almost killed one of Chievo players by accidentally hitting his face, too. What a busy match he had.

Right near Valon, there was Captain Monty and his constantly-worried face.

(He was not amused when his job was to stop Luciano from taking the ball.)

As I said, he did well too, and newspapers said he's getting more confident than he was when the season started. Definitely an improvement.

Right behind Gila and Mutu, there was wonderman Mario Alberto Santana.

Don't know what's going on, but this man is becoming wonderful. Full of ideas, in a sparkling condition, everywhere on the pitch. I'm so proud of him I could be his mother.

Shining.

He played very well, probably the best of Viola.

He also managed to miss an almost-done goal as he was alone in front of Sorrentino.

Not so shining in this very moment, but shining no matter what.

“Mario, how THE HELL could you fail a goal like THAT?”

“And I'm wet. And why there's a ball over my head and why someone is taking photos of it?”

Sinisa has the ball.

But he doesn't like it.

Look, there's a wild Adrian on the pitch!

Adrian was chatting with Artur, and I don't really want to know what he's convincing him to do.

There isn't the usual ton of photos of him, mostly because he didn't play so well. But I suppose that nobody can really ask him to score dozen of goals every match so, since he didn't play this bad, it's okay.

He was careful to look good even if he didn't shine.

Sometimes he's scared of the ball, so Pasqual won't feel alone in his fear.

Gila and his piteous life were there too. I can't really imagine what the life means for this man.

He had a new friend, nonetheless!

Chievo defenders where always next to him, since Adrian doesn't look interesting and Santana was too hard for them.

They had always their hands on him. (And I can understand why, he's a good-looking man, if not for his eternal sad face).

A sad man with and hard time whenever he got the ball.

Even if the defenders loved him so much they couldn't stay away from him, he wasn't the disaster the newspapers claimed he was.

He failed an almost-done goal as Santana did, hitting Sorrentino right in his face from a couple meters, and he was displeased.

Young Khouma replaced him for about ten minutes, and even if he didn't anything so significant for the match, he was good, running and tying to do his best with every ball he got. It'll be his eighteenth birthday on Thursday, #uselessnews.

“OK, I got it. Everybody calm dowm, I'm fixing it!”

KungFu!Vargas listen to Sinisa's praises and woke up from his hibernation.

He played quite well, even if he's not the good old unstoppable JMV yet.

He sticks out his tongue to distract opponents and women.

Then Viola got a free kick to the right of the area, and that was up to JMV.

And he DID IT \O/

So he was delighted. With a wide, stupid smile on his face, running like a fool all over the pitch.

Then he finally stopped, and almost everybody jumped on him to congratulate.

Santana is trying to sneak into the group hug, but nobody's really paying him attention. Poor man.

Adrian obviously loves group hug.

And Gila loves them too. Bitches.

Finally Santana got his personal hug ♥ (Apparently, they're life-mates. Still wondering where I was while it's happening).

MM and his tiny gloves replaced him.

He hadn't so much time and he didn't play very well, too, especially when he miss a goal and after he lost a dangerous ball in the middle of the pitch.

Then this happened.

Natali got very hungry and MM was almost forced to run out of the pitch, even if Monty was trying to use all his sex-appeal strength and authority to calm him down.

Young Khouma was obviously concerned about MM's safety.

He was very concerned indeed. And he looked like his father, even if MM is thirtheen years older. Geez.

Artur was angry too.

Very angry. No wonder that MM preferred to run away and conceal in a closet.

“Hey you, Artur! As I was saying before we were so rudely interrupted--”

Then, he took a moment to tell people that he loved them. A lot.

According to the rest of the team and the general happiness, Gila managed to thank people too, mostly because they still love him even if he's so sad deep inside. He even tried to smile, look! Appreciate the effort he did.

Next match will be with Roma on Sunday, hoping boys wouldn't fail according to all the good words I've spread on them. Also, as Violachannel proudly reminds us almost every day, Primavera will play on Wednesday against Roma (too) in Coppa Italia final. Yo.
