*Peers closer* I'm not sure that's even real eyeliner. It's so close to the white of the eye it looks computer-generated. Why would they do that? I know that sometimes his eyes pop and he looks like an alien, but adding thick black eyeliner has not solved that problem. In fact, it's made it worse.

Look at my pathetic ten-minute attempt to sort out the issues! He already looks ten thousand times better; all they'd done was draw a big fat black line around his eyes that looks as if it was done with MS Paint or something! The editor must have said "He looks too surprised. Can you change that somehow?" and the office temp did this crap job AND THE EDITOR APPROVED IT! OH GOD WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!!!
