1. AAAAAAAAAAAAAA *Catches breath* AAAAAAAAARGH!! He was not even within five miles of that photo shoot! Listen, photogs, that amount of eye make-up would be appropriate for Charlie Chaplin but NOT Humphrey Bogart, and you do NOT have to lighten the whites of the eyes that much when the model is standing IN SHADOW! (I didn't realise this post was at Forzaviola, as usual, and I swear he looked so horrible I thought he was Marchisio.) 2. Then, just to rub it in, you watch the video and he looks human and beautiful! How badly do you have to fuck up at photography to make Montolivo ugly? The only way he stands out in the middle of that row of models is that his outfit is boring. 3. *Looks a the other photos* Christ almighty, Rita Hayworth's torso was not made out of a drinking straw and two bowling balls. (Though the Marilyn one really is pretty good.) Er, I won't torture you any further with my opinion of the photography and manip work, but suffice to say most of it is terrible. 4. I do sometimes wonder wtf Borg makes of all this stuff. Assistant/wife: Here's a picture of what Riccardo Montolivo would look like if he was a zombie in drag. Borg: ?!? Assistant/wife: It's to raise money for your foundation. Borg: Oh. Well, then... carry on. *Privately wonders who'd going to buy it*
3. lol I was trying to exert self-control and not rant about how some of them (INCLUDING THIS ONE) have nothing to do with the movies they claim to represent, and you're doing the same on the photography/manip work. We are very nice people, the pair of us. :D (The one that really alarms me is the Sabrina one. Is there a subtheme of drag here? Cos that chick and Monty's stylists/photoshoppers seem to have thought so.) 4. God, it must be so irritating to him sometimes, to have to be all gracious about utterly atrocious of fundraising dross.
3. Hee! Careful, now, Martha, or we'll ruin your reputation. (That's one of the ones where the head appears to have been manipped onto someone else's body. I think they may have used Audrey Hepburn's hair, too. I'm not sure which parts of the picture show the actual model, assuming any of them do.)
