Arsenal striker Arturo Lupoli will join Fiorentina at the end of the season, the Serie A club have announced. Lupoli, who had also been linked with Serie B outfit Napoli, has agreed a five-year deal with the Viola which will commence in June when his current deal with Arsenal expires.
The 19-year-old joined the Gunners in 2004 from Parma but made just one Premiership appearance. He is currently midway through a season-long loan spell at Championship high-flyers Derby County and had said he would consider making his move to Pride Park a permanent affair if the Rams are promoted to the Premiership.
Lupoli is an Italy under-21 international and scored on his debut for Pierluigi Casiraghi's men in their friendly against Luxembourg in December.
