[RP Here] Mana logged off and shut down the computer, and went to the kitchen to make some tea while she waited for Amelda to arrive. She was looking forward to hanging out with Amelda again.
Leaving in a few minutes, but be back in a few hours, hope you're on then! ^_~longing_riderJune 6 2006, 14:43:24 UTC
On my way. *nod*
[RP Here] Once he had checked everything was turned off inside the house, Amelda grabbed his bag, and walked outside, looking the front door of his apartment.
He had already picked out some things from the floral catalogue from the shop, he just wanted someone else to help his sort and organise matters, and he was glad Mana was willing to help.
Though it was a serious matter, he did want to spend time with her, due to reasons he cared not to admit yet. With that though, he climbed on his bike outside, and took off at high speed towards his destination.
Re: Okay, hope to see you then! ^_~foryourdreamJune 6 2006, 14:57:55 UTC
Mana took the kettle off the stove once it was boiling and carefully placed it on the counter to cool off. She could have magicked some tea, but she found that she liked making it the "old-fashioned" way.
She walked to the front door and tried to watch out for Amelda's arrival.
I'll be on more tonite, but lil bro has homework he must do just now! ^-^longing_riderJune 6 2006, 16:52:41 UTC
Gripping the handlebars, Amelda sped easily through the winding streets, which were quite quiet anyway, so no worr he was endangering anyone. Still, he was always careful none the less.
Soon, he noted he was on the right street, and slowed down to look for the right house number. Once his target was in sight, he sped along, skidding to a stop in front of the gate.
As he caught his breath, he pulled off his bike helmet, and looked up, were he could make out Mana peaking out looking for him. With a small smile, he waved to her as he dismounted, taking his keys and bag, and parking the bike, before making his way up the garden path.
Re: All-righty! ^.^foryourdreamJune 6 2006, 18:37:38 UTC
"Yay!" She heard the motorcycle and saw him wave to her; she unlocked and opened the front door, then stepped out onto the small porch. Mana waved back at him enthusisatically. "Heyya, welcome Amelda-kun!"
Okay, got some time tonight and tomorrow morning! ^__^longing_riderJune 6 2006, 21:05:09 UTC
Chuckling at her happy state, he continued walking up the path towards the porch. Just seeing her smile was enough to brighten the rather dim mood he had been wallowing in recently with what would come.
"Hey," he greeted as he stopped in front of her. "I have the catalogue from the shop, so thanks for helping me pick out what's best Mana." he replied, smiling back at her.
Great! Happy RP-ing!foryourdreamJune 6 2006, 21:34:40 UTC
"Sure, no problem!" said Mana genuinely. She wondered what kind of flowers were needed and what kind of flowers Amelda liked the best. A warm feeling spread from her head to her toes as he smiled at her.
"Come in, come in," she beaconed, leading the way to the living room. There were a few couches and a coffee table. "Make yourself at home, Amelda-kun. I made some tea, if you'd like some."
Yippee! ^-^ Also, looked into chat between Mana and Atemu, tis amusing! *giggles*longing_riderJune 6 2006, 21:46:35 UTC
"Thank you" he answered politely and she led him inside.
He looked around as he walked through the hall and into the living room. It was very simple, but somehow, despite modern design, he felt a wave of tradition, ancestry. No doubt Mana and her teacher Mahaddo wanted reminders of their own home and time.
"Sure, tea would be nice" he spoke again, sitting his stuff down at his feet and taking a seat himself on the couch. He watched as she bustled by, still bubbly despite the grimness of the task ahead.
"You sure your teacher doesn't mind me being here, or you missing out on lessons?" he asked, trying to make casual conversation as he glanced at her through the doorway.
Re: Whee! ^o^ It is, it is very amuuuusing, teeheeforyourdreamJune 6 2006, 21:59:24 UTC
"I'll go get it, then," she said, smiling. The living room did have a few artifacts from Egypt, statues of Ra, Horus, Isis, and Thoth to name a few. A few manuscripts written in hieroglyphics (some of her homework) were left on the table. Mana moved them out of the way and went to the kitchen.
She returned carrying a tea pot in one hand and two small cups in the other, which she carefully placed on the table. She loved playing hostess.
"Well, I haven't exactly heard an answer from him," Mana admitted a litte guiltily. "But seeing as you are not Marik-kun or Bakura-kun, and you haven't gotten me in trouble, I think that your presence here won't bother him. Teehee, I promise, I'm keeping up on my lessons."
*grins* Poor guy has Anzu & Mai on him, wonder about Atemu? Not even got to Mahaddo yet! XDlonging_riderJune 6 2006, 22:12:30 UTC
Sitting back, now at ease, Amelda took in the room more. He glanced a bit at the ancient language written on what seemed to be sheets of papyrus. Of course he couldn't understand it, but it seemed interesting none the less.
Accepting the cup, he waited for her pour out some from the pot, taking a small sip. He recognised it was a bit different that what he was used to, no doubt more cultural influence.
He did look up, in some concern, thinking maybe Mahaddo wouldn't want him here. Indeed, he knew very well that the older man might be protective of her, he just hoped when they met he could give a good impression, to show he meant no harm.
"Well, as long as you don't think he'll mind. I don't want to get you into trouble." he teased a little. "At least I'm not holidng your studies behind."
Placing the cup, down he turned and reached for the catalogue in his bag. "So..., care to look at some of these arrangements with me?"
Re: Oh, yes, he is very, very doomed XDforyourdreamJune 6 2006, 22:26:06 UTC
"Naah, he won't mind." Mana smiled, sitting herself close beside Amelda. She also sipped from her tea. "I promised Mahaado-sama that I'd work harder on my studies, and I think I've done okay on that so far."
She honestly didn't know how Mahaado would react; she assumed that Mahaado would treat Amelda like any other of her friends, with respect. Mahaado was protective, but she didn't suspect how much of a father he might act like. And Amelda made her feel safe.
When Amelda mentioned the arrangements, Mana said, "Okay, let's see them."
Suffocating, cannot go on! *dies8 X_Xlonging_riderJune 6 2006, 22:40:44 UTC
Nodding, he pulled out the large binder and sat it on his lap, flicking through it to find teh right page he marked earlier.
"That's okay then." he grinned back, hoping he wouldn't be kicked out on sight, not to mention trying not to notice how close Mana was. "I'm sure you have, just as long as you keep working on it."
He knew well by now Mana was sweet and somewhat naive, so it never occurred to her what their friendship could be interpreted as. However, he was sure her teacher wouldn't be so blind. he just hoped he would be given a chance to show he was sincere, that he cared for the girl, not about using her. In honesty, without her...he wasn't sure what he would do.
Finally coming back to reality, he found the right page. "Okay then, can you look at this?" he asked, pushng the book to sit between them.
{Evil thing is I must go to sleep, dad is nagging me! see you in the morning I hope, depending on time differences If not, at night! Luv ya! :D}

Mahaado cleared his throat from the doorway to his study, looking at the scene in the living room. When Mana had told him that she had a friend coming over, he had assumed that it would be someone that he already knew -- Kisara, Anzu, Mai. Someone female at least.
... Since when did his apprentice bring men home???
Busted!!! XDDDforyourdreamJune 6 2006, 23:58:21 UTC
[ooc: since today. XDDD]
Mana looked up and turned her head. Not suspecting that anything was wrong, she smiled and said, "Hello, Mahaado-sama! This is my good friend Amelda-san, he asked me to help him pick flower arrangements for his family's burial." She gestured towards the catalogue on the table innocently.
*rises from dead* Uhh Ohh...longing_riderJune 7 2006, 09:15:32 UTC
[And it WILL happen again! ^__^]
Looking around, Amelda immediately realised he was in a lot of trouble. Mana was oblivious to the anything, but he knew her teacher was not expecting to see him in the house. he could just tell from the look he was giving and tone of his body language, he was questioning why Mana had brought someone like him home. Namely an adult male
