Formerly La Corona, or just Corona, San Bregna is a large island-municipality located roughly thirteen to fifteen miles north of the Puerto Rican mainland. It measures about 49.35 square-miles, and houses six major wards, all of which hold a very cosmopolitan and diverse array of peoples. It was first colonized by the Spanish with the rest of the island, then became a hub of international attention during Operation Bootstrap, which saw the mostly agricultural-centered economy turn to one of business and trade at the hands of Adam Bregna (Odin) and Reynard Alexia (Coyote). It is where the majority of the novels take place, and a hub of commerce and supernatural activity.
Because the city is home to both the Bregna Corporation and Totemic Industries, a multitude of peoples -- mostly Russian, Japanese, and Latino -- came to it seeking employment during the onset of Operation Bootstrap. This led Bregna to become a more cosmopolitan city than most others located on the mainland, which is reflected in both its mingling of cultures and architecture. Though order was, at first, a very hard thing to establish on the island, the Corona Restoration Project, led by both Bergna and Totemic, saw a complete reformation of the island's infrastructure from the ground up.
The city in and of itself is separated into six wards -- Monica, Tōhru, Uehara, Rio Relicario, Solomon, and Valachev -- five of which were renamed after the restructuring of the island, to better promote racial acceptance and tolerance.
