california is awesome. flew in to san jose yesterday and then drove to monterey. today we hiked at point lobos and saw a lot of sea lions and i also go to see a baby seal among other things. i love cypress trees. tomorrow it is off to san francisco for a day of adventuring and then i'm seeing kaki king and matt sheehy at the great american music hall. i can't believe i had apprehensions about this trip.
