This Weeks Haul:
The Goon Vol 3: Heaps of Ruination : "Ahh! He's pointing his phallic representation of man's mortality at us! Run!" (I don't think I've laughed so hard in my life. Seriously. The Goon? Best. Comic. Evar. And this volume? A Hellboy guest starring spot! I love Eric Powell, and would have his gay love child if I could, and you know, the wife would let me.)
Jonah Hex 4: I love Luke Ross. His art makes me squee inside. Writing is solid as usual.
Nextwave 1: Oi. "Its wearing purple underpants!" That's about all I can say about that. :P
Spiderwoman: Origin 1 of 5: Eh? We'll see next issue.
Captain Atom: Armageddon 5 of 9: Maybe its because I, like Nathaniel Adam, am wholly unfamiliar with the Wildstorm Universe, but I really feel for him. The nature of his predicament and the alienation he feels from his surroundings resonate, and the story works, at least so far. I hope they can wrap it up believably.
