Sanghyuk was the only person to make it to bed that night. Hongbin laid down on the kitchen floor in the middle of pouring himself a glass of water, Wonshik climbed on top of their breakfast table and started snoring, and Jaehwan laid down by the front door and called it--a terrible night, all around. That Hakyeon had to support Taekwoon's dead weight and still managed as far as the empty space where their living room was supposed to be was surely a testament to his mad skills of something.
"As I thought," He said aloud to no one in particular. "I am the best." Then, he unceremoniously dropped Taekwoon on the hardwood, fell down beside him an arms-length away, and closed his eyes. He opened them again in what felt like seconds later, and for a second, he thought that he hadn't slept at all. Unfortunately, the dim glow on the wall was definitely sunlight, and also his shoulder hurt a lot more than it had the night before--a feat he hadn't thought was possible.
He wasn't cold, though. That might have had something to do with the wall of Taekwoon curled right against his back, a mostly platonic big spoon, except for the arm he had snaked securely around Hakyeon's chest and--yep, those were Taekwoon's fingers holding tight onto the hip that was pressed against the floor. All in all, a very intimate scene, but still excusable if that wasn't Taekwoon's lips he felt a hair's breadth away from the bottom of his ear.
Oh, Hakyeon thought faintly. They were so close he could feel the rise and the fall of Taekwoon's chest. But it was too early to exist and he could find a better time to confront Taekwoon about needing a teddy bear at his advanced age. Hakyeon fell back asleep to the sound of Taekwoon's deep breathing, and promptly forgot this ever happened.
