Cancer? In YOUR Ass?
It's more likely than you think!
March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, and here's the deal: colorectal cancer -- cancer in your can, tumors in your tushie, etcetera -- is the #2 cause of cancer death in the United States. This year alone, more than 131,000 Americans will be diagnosed with colon cancer, and 56,000 will die from it. But you guys, colorectal cancer is also one of the most curable types of cancer when detected early!
If you're friends with me on Facebook or Twitter -- and if you're not: why do you hate me?! -- you've seen me posting about this since last night. If you'll recall, I LJ'd earlier this year about my girl Sheri and her battle with ass cancer. Yo, she's getting through it, because FUCK CANCER, but she's determined to raise awareness and get it in people's heads that their butt is IMPORTANT.
