Pärnu, Part 1 - Just like riding a bike

Sep 24, 2010 20:58

I didn't attend the 1€-party last night, which in retrospect was stupid. At least I wasn't any less bleary-eyed than the people who did when we met up at the ungodly hour of 10:45.
The one and a half-hour bus ride passed quickly, the usual class trip-confusion of who stays where ensued as expected, and then we settled in to the 2 hostels we took over for the day. After that, we went on a bike tour of the town. If Tallinn seems small occasionally, this is microscopic. But also very beautiful, and maybe a bit less european than the capital.

After the tour I was pretty hungry (and tired - I think it may have been the first time I rode a bicycle since passing my driving test), so luckily the original plan was changed and we went straight to the best Pizzeria in Estonia. And it was good.

Then we went back to our hostels, with plenty of alcohol of course, and the next stop is going to be a nightclub. Part 2 to follow.
