This article is about my friend Ann Long from CSPA journalism camp. It makes me soooo angry that the school system is teaching us to shy away from controversial issues. I applaud Ann for her bravery and as one letter to the editor said, "Something tells me nobody's ever gotten canned for identifying a student as heterosexual." - Amy Alkon
