Is this..? Ah. [The world flips 180 degrees and suddenly there's a woman's face, or most of one, the rest hidden by long bangs and brown hair. She clears her throat and holds the communicator an arm's length away.] ...Greetings. [There's an awkward pause as she blinks, trying to decide what to say, and then clears her throat to start anew.]
This is Sergeant Tear Grants speaking. I have some questions regarding the nature of this place, and I would prefer to have those answered quickly, if possible. I'm unclear on how I've come to be in this...City, and who else is here.
[She pulls the communicator up to give a very close up view of her eye, while she fiddles some more and, finally, manages to turn the screen off. Not the audio, though; you can hear her deep, heavy, weary sigh.]
