So yeah, at first my birthday was really sucking. Woke up with a cramp in my leg (I haven't had a cramp in like what.. 2 years?), got to school.. had a really shitty day at school. Got home, not even my own mother called my on my birthday...
Plus my cousin sceduled her wedding shower to be on Saturday, so that blew any plans to celebrate my birthday with the family out of the water. Did I mention that my dad and I were also cateering the shower? Yeah.. got to spend my birthday chopping chicken, celery, grapes, peacons, and apples for chicken salad... Peeling eggs and making deviled eggs (her favorite) and making 1" x 1" square tea sandwiches.
But the funny thing is, I didn't mind... it was almost the best part of my birthday was the preparing the food. My dad and I had to wear matching PINK polo shirts to this freakin shower too, and I dont look good in pink...
After spending 8 freakin hours at this shower, my cousin wanted to go out to eat (wow, thanks Lindsey.. nice to know you enjoyed the food). So we went to the cheesecake factory. I had never been before, and there was like an hour wait to be seated. I didn't really mind though, because Lindsey is pretty cool, and her soon to be husband was giving me dating advise (pretty good advise too ;) ). The service was horrible, and the food was "ok".
My article arrived in "Lake Mary Life" on Friday. It looks really good, and I'm very proud of it. If I remember I'll bring it in sometime this week.
Sunday at 12:15 my dad, sister, grandma, grandpa, and myself all went to P.F. Changs for lunch. I got the Changs Chicken which was awsome (really spicy, but in the good way). After that my grandma was tired so they went home, and my sis/dad/and I went to go see "Man of the House" which was actually a pretty decent movie. Funny, had some violence, and a nice Dad Daughter reunion.
Thats about it... still bored. -_-
