Case 004: [Video/Action]
[The video turns on with a yellow something blocking the screen for a moment before a Drifloon floats casually into the frame. Naoto isn't meaning to broadcast this, apparently.
Naoto looks pretty tired, but pleased, and is sitting on a bench with her Pokémon--a Geodude, a Natu in a hat and the Drifloon-- all around her.]
Now that we're in Violet we can rest better, but first I have something I wanted to ask you all. I know you'll evolve soon, Hercule, so I wanted to ask you all what you wanted in that respect. I know the means to stop evolution if any of you wish to stay as you are--whether temporary to learn skills quicker or permanently--but it will be easier if I know it in advance. So, do any of you wish to not evolve permanently?
[The Drifloon is very emphatically negative in response, and after a couple minutes Hercule the Geodude also answers in the negative. The Natu, however, looks very conflicted and utters a mournful "Tu Natutu..."]
Oh Watson, you don't have to decide now. You can choose to hold off evolution temporarily until you have decided for certain.
[Naoto opens her arms and Watson hops up on her lap--knocking his hat off, which Hercule returns--and he cheers up, cooing at Naoto after some petting.]
Well, that's Watson decided, but Hercule and Marple, do either of you wish to put off evolution temporarily?
[The Drifloon is equally negative in response to that question and Hercule glares at her for a minute before hefting a rock and responding positively.]
Alright, Hercule, we'll hold off your evolution for a while. You'll need to tell me when you want to evolve, though. Now let's-- How did my 'gear turn on? Marple! I told you not to do things like this--
[And that's when that rock gets lobbed at the Drifloon and the feed is suddenly turned off due to collision with a purple balloon.]
((OOC: Naoto and anyone traveling with her have definitely made it to Violet by now (Not sure if Yachiru came or not?) so have some Pokémon antics to celebrate.))
