The latest dream...
My mind's begun to regurgitate earlier incidents and events in the form of dreams.
With an enormous amount of clarity.
A few years ago I was working on the PARZOR project and had gone to Gujarat for a field study.
A colleague of mine from TISS had fallen sick and since I'd studied in Baroda (where we were stationed at the time) i'd taken her along to the doctor for a check-up.
We were surrounded by all gujjus (DUH!) bens and bhais and she was bored out of her skull with the slow service so I made up a song for her.
I honestly don't remember all the words but it was about her (we'll call her Andybear) searching for a groom and coming across a guy called Agamemnon (don't ask me WHY!); whom she serenades.
Andy was less than happy with that particular song although her lips did keep twitching on&off...so I started to cajole her calling her bear, bear cub and then my innate nonsense reasserted itself and I told her if she ever could be likened to a bear it'd only be a grizzly! Andy btw, is a big girl.
But to soften the blow I rechristened her to grizzlyamma. And the name has stuck ever since!
Anyhoo I remembered this bit with so much clarity I surprised myself...especially since there was no trigger for this except the gujju accents I was putting on last nite to make Red laff while he was having his dinner.
