Today is...blah

My laptop was working perfectly for all of five hours yesterday but now he's back to his busted self and I have to hijack my mom's computer for what will probably be the remainder of the summer.
Oh well.  Back to the grindstone, chugging along with my book, even though today I feel oddly uncreative.  I'm sure I just need to get back into the swing ( Read more... )

>.> I never had a muse... *envies yours*
Where did you went on your vacations? Sounds like you had a great time! Unlike me two years ago, when my whole family and a friend's family (11 people on a two bedroom house! Only possible in mexico!) went to Cuernavaca; which in case you don't know is like the sahara, but with a lot more greenery. I couldn't even move because of the damned heat!
Oh, and if you can't write just keep reading, that usually kick starts my creativity. Also, I've heard books are incredibly cheap in the united states. It's not even an option to buy books in here, the last time I bought a paperback it was almost 200 pesos! (more or less 20 dollars) *Chokes!*And don't say you're old! You'll make me feel like a granny! I'm gonna be 20 this december!

Heh. Muses, I got 30 of 'em. Love the little dears to pieces, but their only settings are 'lazy' and 'work Fortuna to death', which can be rather problematic...

11 people in a 2 bedroom house? O__o Now I've heard it all.
Hopefully you can get a better vacation one of these days- preferably somewhere cool. ^__^
20 dollars for a paperback?! I'm so sorry D:
I think around here that kind of money might get you a hardcover... try buying books online, like Amazon.net or something...it's probably cheaper.

I feel old. I mean, this is my last year in highschool, and then I'm an adult, in college not living off my parent's money! *whine whine*

O_o; Wait, I got a bit confused. This next year is the last one, or this one that's going to be over is the last one?
And college over there sounds nice with the dorms and stuff, here you don't have that. One of my cousins make 3 hours by bus daily to the unam from her house.
and Amazon...hmm, you need a credit card for that right? I might look into it.

Next year will be my final year.

No dorms?! That sucks! DX Dorm life is the thing I'm looking forward to most! Some of my friends are going to go to community colleges, and those require students to commute between school and home, but I want to move out of my house.

For Amazon, I think you do. I don't know if you have to exchange your money for USD, but I'm pretty sure you need a credit card (or paypal, which might also require a credit card...^^U)

Then enjoy your final year, girl! I suggest taking photos and doing stupid stuff left and right. You're going to move out and nobody's going to remember about it anyway. I always wish I had taken more photos and made more stupid stuff back when I was on a normal highschool. My classmates liked me and the teachers though I was cool, but I still stayed a lazy idiot and ended up getting kicked out of it (for reasons a bit embarassing though if you want to know I'll tell U.U)

If you're willing to tell, I'm always willing to listen, but you're under no obligation to tell me anything if you don't want to.

Haha, my school's a little strict when it comes to any forms of harlequinade...troublemakers feel administrative wrath quickly and mercilessly >XP I'll be making good memories though...I've got a girlfriend finally, not to mention a season of Marching Band to look forward to and a long term writing project. ^__^ Good times up ahead for me, hopefully it'll last.
