This is Antoinette. She's a great baby; she sleeps through the night, she smiles when I tell her to say cheese, and she just loves everybody. I tried to get everyone to call her Antoinette, but now she's just Annie. It suits her.
The question of the day today is totally annoying. Or rather, the answer is annoying. There are way too many people who seem to think that the President can pass legislation any time he wants. Guess what? It doesn't work that way. I can't decide if our educational system has failed several hundreds of people, or if just no one paid attention during civics class. News flash: the executive branch enforces the laws. It's just so much more complicated than people think.
Technically, the founding fathers meant for each branch of government to have equal power (hence, checks and balances). But let's be honest, the executive branch ended up with a lot more power than they meant it to. Same goes for federal and state government. The federal government has significant power over the state governments.
Now, if the question were something along these lines: If you had the power to change or create legislation in the US of A, how would you use that power? That would be so much easier to answer.
Done with this for now. Time to clean.
Oh, and I'm pissed because my fiance is being an ass.
