Finals and coming home...

Dec 16, 2004 19:08

Ok, my last two IMs made me stop my crazy laundry/cleaning/packing frenzy and write a quick little update.

Seriously, after the lovely conversation with Lauren, followed by the cutest e-card, and this last message from Bridgie, I gotta say, I'm even more excited about home! :) I can't wait to see all my friends and family! And just to be in the US in general! Yay!

Btrfly1815: you're coming HOOOOOMMMMMMEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (can you tell i'm a tad excited?)

Anyway, as for finals -- well, I've had the BEST season grade-wise ever in Georgetown... funny how I wasn't actually in Georgetown...
I got "excellent"s (or 5's -- basically, A's) in all my classes, scary Iconography and last-minute Comparative Hsitorical Political Science included! As promised earlier, I'll describe classes in detail in an e-mail update -- before I leave Russia, really, I promise! I just wanna pack/clean my room, so that I can enjoy my last couple days in Moscow and do exciting things and update y'all in the middle of the night...

Ok, I just wanted to let you all know that I really miss you, and can't wait to get back to the US!!! (Although, I'll really miss Moscow and my wonderful friends here, too.)

Just a quick note -- throughout this time, Toshka's been entertaining herself by whizzing around the room, picking up speed along the way, and sliding into
1.piles of clothing,
2. random souvenirs/presents/books, and
3.plastic bags (of course, the most fun, since they make noise!)... oh, and, of course, the occasional attack on Katherine is attempted and successfully executed... :)

P.S. For those of you that don't read Russian, the box Toshka's in says "Russian Postal Service."
