office space
For all those who work in an office space, you know my mood. Tired, yet already bored at 8:06 am. Only been here 30 mins. and don't have a whole lot to do. Nothing unusual. I am keeping up the pretext, though, of looking busy, hence writing here. No one would suspect I'm not working as I am diligently typing away at my computer. It's all good, since technically they can't bust me because I have all of my work finished. Ah, the world of a student hire on base.
The excitement for the morning was looking at the x-ray of my boss's son's ankle. The tibia is almost cracked all the way through at the base where it meets the ankle. Pretty cool looking. Since I have just finished A&P, it's fun to look at all that stuff and go "I know exactly what that is!" (such a nerd...) Can't wait to start nursing school when we really get into the nitty-gritty stuff. Although I will miss the smell of cadavers, the real deal will make it all the more special!
