As Julia reported a couple of days ago, when we were discussing with Arthur whether Jello is a solid or a liquid (answer: it's both: a colloidal hydrogel) he suggested that one way to decide would be to "drop a one-inch tungsten ball" on it, to see if it sinks. Intrigued, I googled the phrase "one-inch tungsten ball" and sure enough, all of the results lead to
this Youtube video. Now, since Arthur loves Youtube and science, but given the opportunity would watch reviews of super sentai toys or walkthroughs of fifteen-year-old video games, I want to find him a bunch of interesting educational videos.
So here's where you can help us out. We're looking for any videos with science, engineering, technology, or math content, or really any educational videos whatsoever, on Youtube. They should be appropriate for kids, but don't need to be geared specifically to primary-grade kids - Arthur is a voracious viewer and enjoys stuff aimed at general (lay) adult audiences, like Mythbusters. I'd strongly prefer videos on Youtube rather than other sites, just so I can compile them all on his Youtube favourites and give him a lot of viewing choices all in one place. Thanks!
