Jars of dead animals
I really don't mind the editing process; I end up finding errors that would have been embarrassing if they appeared the final version of my book, and any number of more mildly annoying verbal infelicities. For instance, I just encountered the phrase 'jars of some liquids and dead animals', which made me think inevitably of Bonsai Kitten. Why yes, I am bored, thanks for asking!
