I LEGIT ALMOST HAD A HEART ATTACK. THEY ALMOST KISSED! THAT HAPPENED!
I HAD TO PAUSE NEAR THE END BECAUSE I THOUGHT I WAS ABOUT TO HAVE A PANIC ATTACK. OF JOY. I REALLY THOUGHT THEY WERE GOING TO KISS. I don't think I've ever really felt like that before? Like, there's been moments where they've been close to each other (the end of Judas on a Pole comes to mind) but like, I never thought they were going to do it, they were just having a ~moment and one of them would have pulled back. BUT HERE, THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY GOING TO. Like, oh my fucking god, they were actualfax about to make out. I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON IN THEIR MIIIIINDS AFTERWARDS. I am still unclear on how much she realises about her feelings for him! I feel like maybe the talk from Angela showed to her Booth can = sex? Because she was leaning in and lip staring just as much as he was, and I can't imagine her doing that if she didn't have any clue what was going on between them! She'd be like "this relationship is totally sexless" and not do that, right??????? I mean, we know Booth loves her, he's head over heels. He looked so devestated whenever she mentioned Andrew, and SO INTO HER at the end.
FROM THE BEGINNING, THOUGH:
-- BRENNAN WAS SO CUTE AND SMILEY THE WHOLE EPISODE. Even when she was flirting with Andrew, I could overlook it because OH MY GOD SHE IS ADORABLE.
-- GUN HOLSTERS ARE BACK. They're so inexplicably hot.
-- DAISY WAS AMAZING. The show keeps making me absolutely love everybody, even ones I wasn't fond of before! Like, I never ever ever thought I'd say "Daisy was amazing" but oh my god, breathing exercises! That voice she was doing! Raising her hand!
-- Brennan and Daisy fangirling over the mummy, jfc. I died from the cute.
-- BRENNAN ACTING OUT THE MOVIE WAS THE MOST HILARIOUS THING IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. The voice she was using! "And yet I shall awaken memories ... of love, and crime, and death." ANGELA'S FACE RIGHT AFTER. TEARS.
-- Booth's all "don't discuss me with Andrew" and she's all "why would I?" and then 5 minutes into their date, she brings up what Booth would order at that restaurant! She couldn't help bringing Booth up because it's probably just second nature that EVERYTHING SHE DOES SHE RELATES BACK TO HIM.
-- "With Andrew, there's the potential for sex." "And not with Booth?" I SEE YOU NOT DENYING IT THERE, BRENNAN.
-- Cam & Sweets being all bff!
-- THE EGG SCENE. OH MY FUCKING GOD. FIRSTLY -- HE BROUGHT AN ACTUAL EGG. SECONDLY -- "I like that story and I guess it just popped out!" THIRDLY -- "What goes on between us is ours." FOURTHLY -- "You must have told a lot of people the meatloaf story!" and his face is basically saying "no, only you" and her face chaaaaanged and holy fucking fuck I died.
-- Sweets and Daisy having sex in the Egyptian room, loooool. Also Hodgins and Angela were really adorable in this episode.
-- BUT BACK TO THE END SCENE OF PERFECTION! FIRSTLY, THEY LOOK SO AMAZINGLY HOT. And how one of them would step forward and then the other one and then suddenly they're 4mm away from each other. And she ditched Andrew (hopefully dumped him) to take Boooooth to the party, aaaah. So he could be there to confide in about her nerves about speaking in front of everyone! AND JFC EVERY WORD SHE SAID DURING THE "THIS SHOULD JUST BE OURS" SPEECH HE MOVED CLOSER AND CLOSER. WITH MUTUAL LIP STARING. THEY WERE ACTUALLY LEANING IN. AND THEN THEIR LOOKS OF DISAPPOINTMENT AFTER THEY WERE INTERRUPTED! AND COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY TIE-FIXING/HAIR STROKING. BRB BURNING SCENE INTO MY BRAIN.
OH GOD, I wish it was just a horrible rumour that it was going on hiatus for a month. I don't know how I'm going to live.
