Romania's per capita GDP (PPP) is ranked 70th in the world. That places it ahead of Macedonia (82nd), Belarus (89th), Ukraine (90th), Bosnia and Herzegovina (101st), Albania (105th), Serbia and Montenegro (106th), and Moldova (141st). For GDP (nominal), it ranks 76th world-wide (still way ahead of Moldova, which is 128th). By total GDP it ranks 43th-50th worldwide.
It ranks 21st worldwide for income equality (the UK is 51st, by comparison). As of 2002, 28.9% of the population lived in poverty (compared to 80% of Moldova or 29% of Ukraine. By comparison the UK is 17%). As far as the European Union's Human Development Index goes, Romania ranks 64th (0.792) (placing it under "Medium Human Development", along with several other Eastern European nations).
Clearly it's not the poorest country in Europe, though it is on the poorer end. I think Moldova, however, is clearly the poorest country in Europe.

I was curious who you are, so I read your first post. Upon reading it, I figured that it was important that, instead of relying on unreliable sources, you find out whether or not Romania really was Europe's poorest country, and how it compared statistically, etc.
Now you know. Next time you can look it up. I used Wikipedia to find out most of that.
