Jan 20, 2009 01:45

I know this is late but I have been busy. I hope you enjoy my Best/Worst list of 2008 & comments are welcome.

Here are the events that have happened to me during 2008.

My Grandma, Dad's Mom died of Pneumonia at the age of 83. R.I.P. Elizabeth Lee Smith

Went to Disney World in April, August & November. We had an annual pass so we thought we might as well use it up. Wont be going back for awhile now.

My brother & his fiancee Bree welcomed a little boy to the family. His name is Gabriel Joseph.

We had a busy August. We went to Denver for my brother's wedding, then we visited with a friend in St. Louis & he drove us to Memphis. We got to see Graceland during Elvis week which lead up to the day of his death.

Jim Breuer invited us to a private screening of his movie he did with his Father.

Went to a Celine Dion concert at Madison Square Garden.

Magnolia Bakery put a location in Rockefeller Center & I finally got to try my first cupcake they are known for.

Here are the celebrities I met in 2008. Some I had pictures with & some I didnt.

Justin Long- He walked right by me after an SNL. I said Hello Justin & he goes Oh hey, How are you. So friendly & adorable. No picture.

Rocco DiSpirito- He has come out of SNL many times & he is another friendly guy. He shook our hand. No picture.

Michael Johns- He had just got knocked off of American Idol & that Saturday he was at the show. I went right up to him & asked him for a picture.

Suze Orman- Kristen Wiig had just done her that night & we happen to see the real Suze come out. Louis said Hello to her and she was really friendly & then Louis asked her what she thought of Kristen doing her. She said Kristen does a great job. No picture.

John Stamos- He was at the show & this really excited me. I met him once before when he was on Broadway doing the play Nine. This time there wasn't a barricade so I said Hello John. He turned and gave me a smile that made me melt so I asked him for a picture. He said sure & the lady he was with took our picture & then he squeezed my shoulder & I thanked him.

Bill Murray- This was my second time meeting him & he was at one of the TNL shows. Chris happened to be with me which was interesting since I first met Chris at a book signing a few years later & Bill Murray was there. I got a better picture this time. Thank you Chris.

Brandon Flowers- He was a MG on SNL & he came down after the show. I happen to like The Killers music so it was about time I met Brandon. I got a picture with him & he was really sweet.

Joshua Jackson- He was at one of the TNL shows in the audience & he came down with Chris Parnell. I tried to get a picture with him with my camera but the battery died so I had to use my cell phone camera. While waiting Joshua was being very patient. He would rub my back & I thought he whispered something in my ear but Chris & Michael said he kissed me on the head.

Greg Kinnear- I had just seen a movie screening of Ghost Town & Greg just happened to be on Conan that Friday so as he was going in I got a picture with him.

David Cook- He was a musical guest on SNL so after the show he came down & I asked him for a picture. I told him I voted for him on American Idol & he was very appreciative. He even thanked us again on his way out.

James Franco- I met him when he was doing SNL. He would give me the cutest smile & I asked him for a picture. He said sure so Louis & I got a picture with him.

Heath Ledger- This is the one that is the worst of the deaths. He was way too young to die. I didn't care for his acting but it was still a shocking thing to hear. He will really be missed.

Paul Newman- Known for only one movie I have seen him in & that was Cool Hand Luke. He is also known for his Newmans Own products.
