At least 90% of the time, nobody cares what you do. They won't remember. Unless you do something completely weird and memorable, or just look really freaky, most people's eyes will just glide over you. Especially on either end of retail transactions. People have enough concerns of their own, they don't have time to worry about you and what you

How about:

99% of the people in the world will never meet you.

99% of all the people you ever meet will never remember you five minutes later.

99% of the people who remember you more than five minutes later will never think about you for more than ten seconds a week.

Of people who think about you more than ten seconds a week, 99% will have no strong opinion about you one way or the other.

For every person who does have a strong opinion about you, there's a hundred million other people you can hang out with instead.
