How does everyone keep making all this hysterically awesome work? There's honestly no explanation for how Inception fandom exploded like this; the kinkmeme gets even bigger every day, tumblr's fuckyeaharthurandeames has taken over, like, everything; hackthis made a sweet post on how to dress your Inception characters (which you could also send to ( Read more... )

Did I mention that I never once cross posted that story or linked it from anywhere? People are apparently VERY SERIOUS about finding tragic orphan h/c. I honestly hadn't realized.

I don't know if I mentioned this, but I troll the internet for tragic orphan h/c works nightly. In fact, those are the exact search words I use. And after scrolling through page upon page of "buy this baby! only $19.99!" ads, I found Forever, Now and was like, "Well, I don't really have to do my homework tonight." That was a pretty good night. ::sigh:: And so long ago. Why doesn't the internet god provide me with my orphan sacrifice on a nightly basis?

That's pretty much all I longed for in SG1 fandom, I feel you. More tragic h/c that ends with EVERYONE HUGGING. But it didn't exist, so I had to write it instead.

My friend and I were just joking about feelings/feeling people up and I, very understandably, double-taked (or is it double-took?) at your first sentence. Thank you for that little heart attack.

I can't get enough of the h/c with hugging and angst and hugging it out and moar angst and angst-solving hugs! with maybe a few more misunderstandings which require...hugs! But when I write it it feels so incredibly self-indulgent that I just bury it forever and pretend it never happened. (Just like that sentence never happened.) I'm glad, however, that you took a different route. Orphan!hugs need to be shared!
