So, I'm kind of moving out of bandom?  It's weird, I go through spurts where I adore it, and the reason I've stuck with it so long (holy crap, a year and a half?  This is some kind of record for me and my phases) is because the characters are so awesome, but...Ok.  I got it.  I still read, but only the people I've been stalking for their amazing writer-fu.  I don't really feel the need to actually know what's up with the actual people, though.  Less confused, now that I've talked that out.  Written it out.  Whatever.

On another note, Gabriela Mistral.  Actually, she's a whole range of notes, a chord, a freaking set of strings.  And someone I can (finally!) actually translate, possibly because I have a somewhat similar background.  You know, aside from the whole Chilean thing, and time period, and her possible gayness.  But the Catholic thing, and some of the other stuff I'm fairly familiar with.  Ideals, maybe, is what I'm getting at?  And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why people get so frustrated with me in class.  I talk my ideas out, instead of having them ready for discussion.  Anyways: Tres Árboles, por Gabriela Mistral.
