Howdy!
I hope everyone had a good Hallowe'en! Last night we went to a party held by a friend-of-a-friend who lives about 10 blocks from me. I was a witch: green-and-black wig, iridescent green pointy hat with feathers in it, black top with giant bell sleeves, green skirt with iridescent sparkles, and fake fingernails that glowed in the dark. S was Morticia Adams, and looked absolutely gorgeous, though she almost had to be rolled into the car because she couldn't move her legs much in the dress. Boyfriend was a redneck samurai named Cletus-san, and E was some kind of dark Satanic priest with black robe and skull makeup. Why am I describing things in detail? Because none of us took pictures, that's why. We like our fail! Yes, we do!
Of course, since I had several glasses of wine at the party, I then slept poorly and am half-zombified today. Right now I'm watching Boyfriend play Disgaea 3 while trying to decide whether or not I want to take part in NaNoWriMo. And if so, what I'm going to write. O, the fascinating life I lead...
The real point of this post though, is that I wanted to share with everyone an artist I just came across, who is moonvoice on LJ. She has a deviantART gallery where you can buy prints of her work, and an LJ with icons of some of her work. I adore her style and even though my budget is really tight, I desperately want to buy some. Check it out...
