A question

Okay. I was trying to take a hiatus from being online from last night till tomorrow because I just plain have too much going on in real life and needed to concentrate on it.  (BTW, I went out with the guy I met online for a second time last night, and it went quite well.)  But then I got this idea in my head. And, as ideas will, it has spent all day running around and around in my head and I cannot get rid of it...so I had to get online for a few minutes to ask all y'all whether I am on good crack or bad crack.

See, there was a discussion a while back about how the writers on Heroes seem to keep trying to put Peter Petrelli up against different villains, but the villains always end up resonating better with other characters. And my brain wound up wanting to turn this into a poem. I wrote the first three stanzas mentally this afternoon and just wanted to know if I need to be committed. I mean, if anyone thinks it's worth it to write more.

Once upon a time, there was an emo lad named Pete.
He led a privileged life that some might think was sweet.
But as he hid behind his bangs, his sadness made him moan,
“All I really wish for is a villain all my own!”

He found a lad named Adam who he thought might fit the bill.
His most endearing trait was, he’s impossible to kill.
“That will come in handy,” Peter said while smiling brightly,
“ ‘Cause if I ever explode, I can’t incinerate your hiney.”

But Adam wasn’t interested, and he broke Peter’s heart.
He said that he’d already found happiness with his Carp.
Peter tried to sway him as he polished up his blade,
But Adam just ignored him, and he sadly walked away.
