I just have to say that
violet_anchovy is made of awesome. I logged in to Kingdom of Loathing to discover that I had received Valentines from Mohinder Suresh and Gabriel Gray.
Aren't they just adorable? (Try not to think too much about Mohinder's lips, though. You'll end up sitting here in front of the computer for an hour in a daze. A happy daze, but an unproductive one.) You should be able to have a Mylar balloon as a familiar. It could alternate between cutting into the monsters' heads during combat to kill them, and injecting you during combat to restore your hit points.
Yes, I have taken lots of cold medicine tonight. Why do you ask?
Unfortunately, I have nothing even vaguely that fun to send in return. I am the person who just now realized that once I use up all my adventures for the day, I should drink as much booze as I can from my inventory so that after rollover the following day, the inebriety will go away and I can use those adventures. And it only took me 3 months of playing to figure this out! I'm doing the Phi Beta Kappa Society proud!
Also, on the subject of Valentines...if you are on my flist, and you have one of those little "leave a Valentine for me" thingammies, but you don't get a Valentine from me...please don't be offended. I kept seeing them pop up while I was at work, and I kept meaning to go back and leave some...but I haven't gotten around to it, for anyone. I'm sorry. I am made of epic fail this week.
And now, this cold that's going around has completely dragged me down, so I'm going to bed two hours early!
