3 March 2014 the lider of the "Rigth sector" Dmitro Yarosh said on the press conference:
Given the political and geopolitical military situation, the command «Right sector» was created by the military headquarters. Its mission is to develop, careful planning and subsequent management units «Right sector» in their fight against the Russian aggressors.
At the same time we are coordinating their actions with the the National Security and Defense of Ukraine. One of the first tasks is to set up a headquarters to develop concrete plans for the protection of settlements and territories, which may soon become the scene of imperialist encroachment Kremlin.
I command to create a military headquarters «Right sector» in all the regions of our country. Encourage representatives of the army, of the representatives of the Security Service and Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine to make every effort to coordinate with the regional offices of the «Right sector», arm and train these units.
I urge citizens of the Russian Federation in all possible ways to confront the dictatorial regime of Putin and open new fronts in the struggle for the freedom of nations and people.
Also re- appeal to all Ukrainian citizens, suitable for military service and join the ranks of the «Right sector». In order to become a fighter or commander the «Right sector» enough love Ukraine, want to see it as an independent state, have the ability to armed struggle for its freedom.
I am addressing the soldiers of the «Right sector», especially to those who have recently joined our ranks , I want to remind that «Right sector» - the center of a clear hierarchy, order and discipline. There is no place for «ataman» and destructive anarchist activity.
The only way to win. Death to Kremlin occupiers.
