PS.... So, I love the movie Kate and Leopold but as I was watching it the other day and found myself annoyed by the fact that not only did Leopold not invent the elevator (Because it's called the Otis elevator for a reason) but the fact that John Roebling... was giving a speech about how great the Brooklyn Bridge was while standing in front of it (while BOTH towers were up) he was indeed dead by then (As he died from the bends building the damn thing) and his son George Washington Roebling had taken charge at that point.
Okay so I'm lame and insist on pointing out and or noticing this stuff when I see it but still I feel people should know this as the Brooklynn bridge is an important part of our history and... okay that's shit, really people should just know it... because I said so.
