I'd forgotten about you

Seeing you again reminded me of things
Things I realized I'd forgotten
Things at first
I thought I'd never forget
But glad that they are gone
A distant fading memory
Not sad to see it go
The bad choices and the dumb mistakes
Gone and forgotten because I've learn
And then moved on
Bettered my life
But what have you done?
Nothing, moved from one bad mistake to the other
Life, love and work
New scenery, old situations
Glad to not remember you
Waiting for the day
When I see your face
I don't know who you are
And I'm not sad to see
