Yep *yawn* I saw the Matrix
The thought that sticks out most from my mind was "Okay so where the fuck is Neo? Okay oooo aahhhh special effects from a thousand angles. Now get on with the damn plot already."
I was watching the making of it a couple days ago and they were explaining how grueling and intense it was to make extended fight and battle scene, and that no other movie has done it. THERE'S A REASON NO ONE HAS DONE IT! Cause it's BORING. I love action and fight scenes more than the average woman, I love Bruce lee and other martial arts movies but come on, they know when it's time to end the fight. Drawing it out just making it boring. The damn movie could have been an hour and a half and been a BETTER movie. They should have left the extend battle scenes for the dvd.
As Matt put it they should rename the movie "Matrix 3: Finding Neo"
Where was he for the first 40 minutes after the intro to the movie? (while the boring battle that they were going to lose at that point anyway was going on)
Just like Men though, Make a phenomenal Start, Kick it up for the middle and then try WAY TOO HARD IN THE END AND BOMB.
Don't get me wrong the actually 20 minutes of plot was great I really enjoyed it.
But how about trinity's death scene? That dragged too. I was almost brought to tears at first and then it just kept going! It was very touching but just like the rest of the movie GET TO THE POINT ALREADY!!!!!
I do and did enjoy the trilogy for the concept but there are so many flaws that this wasn't a Sci/fi cause that requires that at least some of the laws of physics and science weren't broken. This is pure fantasy, cause the basis of it just couldn't happen. If anyone reads the MacHall comic you know what I mean *Voip*
Oh and if you disagree with me and don't do it nicely I will delete your comment because well it's MY and have the right to not be disgraced or insulted on it. But I won't delete it is you're nice about it, because you're allowed your opinion just as I have mine, you can go ahead and love the moive and I won't think any less of you, this is my journal and just MY opinion.
